During major festivals, the villagers actively participate, ringing the ancient bronze bell in unison, praying for the blessings of our ancestors. I especially love to visit the Tin Hau Temple, where after lighting an incense stick, I listen to the miraculous stories of the Goddess of Heaven and the Earth God, hoping they will bless me with safety and health. The nearby Chong Him Hall is also a favorite of mine, filled with countless memories from my childhood. Every time I step into this familiar historic site, I can't help but feel: I am so fortunate to be born in such a place rich in history and culture.
