Mae beamed. “I sew them myself.” “Teach us?” Osh asked. Page 10: Mae showed them how to sew. “Snip, stitch, tada!” she said. Osh made a bag. Ish decorated a dress. Page 11: As the sun set, DH hugged XH. “We’re a family again,” he said. XH smiled. “And we have a town full of friends.” Page 12: The store stayed open, always giving.
