She wheezed with every breath, her thin tail covered in dirt, and the ache inside her made moving feel impossible. Next door was a house Rosie often found herself near when the pain got too bad. Light spilled from its windows, and inside, a man and woman moved together, their faces kind but lined with sadness. Something about the house felt safe. One evening, Rosie collapsed near their yard, her body trembling, too tired to move. The man stepped outside, crouching near her with a plate of food. Rosie dragged herself forward, eating for the first time in days, her body shaking with the effort. “Poor thing,” the woman said softly, reaching out her hand but not touching Rosie right away. Her fingers smelled warm and gentle, not like the world Rosie knew.he next morning, the couple wrapped her in a soft towel. After a failed bath—Rosie’s terrified scratches proving her fear—the man carried her to the rescue vet. Humans poked and prodded, but their hands were kind. Medicine tasted bitter, but it brought relief. Back at the house, Rosie was given a warm crate, soft food, and quiet care. Over the weeks, Rosie began to heal. Her breathing eased, and her strength returned. The woman sang softly to her, and the man would talk about how they’d needed something to care for. Rosie didn’t understand their words, but she felt their love. Then in the next play one of Kevin’s friends passes the ball to Kevin and Kevin shoots the ball and misses. His friends tell him that he is bad and to get off the team. Kevin go to a tree and falls asleep. He wakes up in a strange place then a clone of him walks to him and welcomes him to the dream world. He shows him that he is going to be a great soccer player but only if he tried. Then he shows him how to get out of the dream world. And Kevin goes and rejoins the team and his friends apologize.

[The screen shows a deer wandering around in the forest. Deer moves around cheerfully and curiously.] Child: Today, we're going to explore the forest with Deer and learn more about him. Are you ready? [The child looks at the audience and nods eagerly.] Child: Then let's get started! [The screen shows the child and Deer walking in the forest. Upbeat music plays in the background.]

The children want to start collecting plastic bottle tops to recycle with Lids4Kids. They meet a nice volunteer who will drive their lids to Canberra for them. Then they send a letter home to their families and ask them to collect plastic bottle tops from milk bottles, pop bottles and water bottles. The children enjoy washing the lids in warm soapy water with their family (and pet dog). Next week all the children bring in a bag of lids each. Together they group the lids into colour groups. The nice volunteer pick them up and takes them to Lids4Kids in Canberra. The lids are then turned into a rainbow colored park bench. The teacher surprises the children by buying the rainbow park bench for their playground.

Outros tentaram distribuir usando as mãos, mas sem saber se estavam dando mais ou menos para cada um. Alguns começaram a usar pedras para representar o que estavam distribuindo. Mesmo assim, tudo parecia confuso. Como eles poderiam se organizar melhor? Desafio para a turma: Agora, seus alunos fazem parte da aldeia! Em grupos, eles precisam pensar em soluções para os problemas sem usar números. Dê a cada grupo um desafio, como: Como dividir os peixes entre as famílias de forma justa?
