In the beginning, God created the world. He created a man named Adam and a woman named Eve. He placed them in the garden of Eden. God said, âYou can eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of knowing good and bad. If you do, you will die.â One day Satan pretended to be a snake and he talked to Adam and Eve. He wanted to trick them into thinking Godâs words were not true. The snake (Satan) said, âDid God really say, âYou canât eat from any tree in the garden?ââ Eve said, âWe can eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of knowing good and bad. God said, âYou must not eat it or even touch it, or you will die.ââ Satan wanted Adam and Eve to choose to do what they wanted to do instead of obeying God. The snake (Satan) said, âNo. God knows that when you eat the fruit, you will be like Him, knowing good and bad.â

But as soon as the Pink Gorilla arrived at his zoo, Mr. Bumble couldnât stop wondering. âWhy not?â he thought. âWill it tickle? Will it make him dance? Will something crazy happen?â Finally, he couldnât wait any longer. One quiet day, Mr. Bumble tiptoed into the gorillaâs enclosure. The Pink Gorilla stared at him with big, curious eyes. Slowly, Mr. Bumble reached out his hand and⊠tapped the Pink Gorilla on his right shoulder. Suddenly, the gorilla stood up, roared, and started chasing him! âAHHHH!â Mr. Bumble screamed. He ran through the monkey house, over the giraffe field, and around the elephant pool. The Pink Gorilla stayed right behind him the whole time! Mr. Bumble jumped on a scooter, but the Pink Gorilla grabbed a skateboard and zoomed after him. He swam across a pond, but the Pink Gorilla grabbed a floaty and paddled right behind.
