Finally, with a little wiggle and a lot of determination, Max managed to break free! As Max scampered out of the cage, he heard Ellie approaching, but by then, he was already far away, laughing at his own cleverness. He learned a valuable lesson that day. No matter how tough life gets, there’s always a way out if you don’t give up. The Moral of the Story: Never give up, even when things seem impossible. Cupcake and peanut become overwhelmed and ill from eating all the cookies. With a terrible retching sound, the woman transforms into a witch! The infinite cookies were actually a curse, and cupcake and peanut are suffering as a result of their gluttony. The moral of the story- do not eat too many cookies. The witch transforms into a speck of dust, and is blown away in the wind.

The description of this whole story ends with a clear comment: “the thing that David had done displeased the Lord” (2 Samuel 11:27). God didn’t let David get away with this.
